Writing notes (for you fans/creepers--beware, though), pencil box, cross stitch pattern, my stupid cat trying to go to Narnia.
Story: there are little crawl spaces all over our upper floor. Once, my cat get inside THIS VERY ONE, and got STUCK. We only heard it meowing OUTSIDE and it took forever to figure out where the heck she was. And yet, she insists on trying to get into these things all the stinkin' time. Including about 5:30 every morning.
Adventure for the timid pampered house cat, I suppose?
Small progress. While listening to BBC Radio's Twelfth Night (including David Tennant as Malvolio, which was both funny and disturbing) and Daniel Schwabauer's Runt the Brave.

I looked up this quote for my Daddy after the LotR re-watching during our vacation:
"Always after a defeat and a respite, the Shadow takes another shape and grows again."Afterwords (and much flipping around in Chapter 2 to find the stinkin' thing) I gave the book a photoshoot and longed to just open it and read it through. For the 30th time or whatever.
"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.
"So do I," sand Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."
-The Lord of the Rings, Book 1, Chapter 2, J. R. R. Tolkien
Well, now I have a frame, and the aida cloth, and half of the colors of floss I need (though if I'll have to buy multiple bundles of the same floss, I don't know).
So, the craziness has STARTED.
THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT, CALLEIGH.
Go on, Forest of Lies-fans/creepers. TRY and figure out what's under Marian's name. muwahahaha...
Robin: Aye, ignore the fact that I have "x"s for eyes.

This rocking chair has been adorning various Nairam family decks for about as long as I can remember, in many different colors. Found myself suddenly drawn to it this particular day, with the dried flowers, chipped paint, and shadows...

Apparently all the pictures I took on this day were of sea creatures we saw stranded (either purposefully or no...) on our older-girls-'n'-mom walk.
So, here is one of them.
Also, this is my 100th picture! Except it's really my 94th, because I've missed 6 and have had to replace them with The Doctor. I suppose 94% isn't too shabby. Hey, I'm still going, at least!

When I go on vacation (Saturday), I will get new material so I won't have to just snap pictures of my belongings.
All the same, you should read this book. It's my favourite of Mr. S.'s. That's of course considering that Curse of the Seer HASN'T COME OUT YET. (Yay, Mr. S. is as slow as I am!)
P.S. I just recently discovered that shadow behind JaRed. Isn't it COOL? (And doesn't it look slightly like the picture must be casting a shadow in this picture?)
I have so many college folders at this point that I really need to write on all of the envelopes. Especially the King's ones, since I open those the most often.
Yep, Princeton's one of the colleges I applied for and didn't get into. Princeton or Forest of Lies?
Forest of Lies. Every time.
Especially when King's sends me Christmas cards.
I am sorry.
I really am.
In my defense, I went to October Baby this day as well...but didn't bring my camera. If I had, you would have a picture of a poster instead.
It's the half-thought that counts, correctamundo?
I told you I needed a facepalming one.
Instead, have this picture of Ten looking epic.
I, too, I am hoping this doesn't turn into a Doctor Who pictures only blog.
Though I bet I COULD find 366 epic pictures of David Tennant.
